Amazon UK lists pre-order page for Oculus Touch controllers
Retailers around the world are getting ready for the Oculus Touch launch - and here in the UK, Amazon has just made a pre-order page live.
The page, which is still live, says the controllers will be £189.99 and have a release date of 23 November. This is in line with another pre-order page by German retailer Media Markt which said last month the controllers would come in at about €199.99.
Neither retailer shows pictures of the Touch controllers, but it is now possible to pre-order them on Amazon - at least, you can go as far as adding them into your basket and getting to the payment page.
"Before you even pick up a pair of Touch controllers, you know how to use them," the description reads, adding that constellation tracking allows users to manipulate objects in a virtual environment with precision.
As we wrote previously, last year Oculus blogged that it would delay shipment of the Touch controllers so it could make improvements. It wrote that it would launch the controllers in the second half of this year, and is also releasing 30 new titles to go with them.
Oculus is also currently holding its Oculus Connect 3 developer conference in California, where the controllers are set to be debuted properly. Sessions will include tips on how to make more natural-feeling experiences, audio design and on the Oculus social platform.
